Visit centeriir.org →The Pakistan Journal of Law and Policy (PJLP) supports the responsible dissemination, accessibility, and long-term preservation of scholarly research. Authors are permitted to deposit and share their published work through institutional repositories, subject-specific repositories, and recognized academic platforms, including ResearchGate, Academia.edu, ORCID, personal academic webpages, and other appropriate scholarly platforms, subject to applicable licensing terms and third-party rights.
Authors may deposit the published article (Version of Record) in an institutional or subject repository and share it through their personal or professional academic webpages and research profiles, in accordance with the journal’s licensing and copyright policies.
Any deposited or shared version of an article must provide clear and accurate attribution to the Pakistan Journal of Law and Policy as the original place of publication. Authors are encouraged to include the complete bibliographic citation, the article’s Digital Object Identifier (DOI), where available, and a direct link to the official version of record on the journal’s website.
The journal does not impose an embargo period on the self-archiving of published articles. Authors may therefore make their published articles publicly accessible immediately following publication, subject to appropriate attribution, compliance with the applicable licence, and preservation of the integrity of the published work.
Authors must not alter, modify, or misrepresent the published version when depositing or sharing it. Where corrections, retractions, expressions of concern, or other editorial notices have been issued by the journal, authors should ensure that these notices are appropriately linked or reflected in repository records wherever practicable.
Authors are responsible for ensuring that any third-party material included in their articles is shared in accordance with the relevant copyright permissions, licence conditions, and applicable laws. Permission to self-archive an article does not automatically extend to third-party content for which separate permission may be required.
This policy aims to promote open access, facilitate scholarly communication, enhance the discoverability and impact of published research, and support the long-term preservation and accessibility of the scholarly record in law, legal theory, public policy, governance, and related disciplines.
The Pakistan Journal of Law and Policy reserves the right to revise this policy in accordance with evolving standards and best practices in scholarly publishing, open access, research integrity, and publication ethics.
